Copyright Transfer Agreement

The authors of the above manuscript agree to publish it in the Journal of Tropical Biology and voluntarily transfer certain copyright interests to the Editorial Department of the Journal of Tropical Biology (hereinafter referred to as the "Editorial Department") globally upon acceptance of the manuscript. The terms are as follows:

(1) The authors warrant that the manuscript is original and free from issues of confidentiality or multiple submissions. All liabilities arising from infringement or breaches of confidentiality shall be borne by the authors.

(2) All authors agree that upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication, the authors shall transfer to the Editorial Department all rights of reproduction and dissemination of the manuscript, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, performance, translation, compilation, and adaptation.

(3) The authors warrant that there are no disputes regarding authorship. Any disputes over authorship shall be the responsibility of the authors.

(4) The rights transferred under Article of this agreement shall not be used by the authors or licensed to others in any form. However, the authors may cite or translate portions of the manuscript in their subsequent works or compile it in non-journal publications.

(5) Transfer Fee: Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the journal shall pay the authors a one-time manuscript fee (including transfer fees and copyright usage fees for network publication and related databases authorized by the journal). The payment standard shall be separately negotiated.

(6) Disputes arising from the implementation of this agreement shall be resolved through negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit in the People's Court with jurisdiction in the location of the Editorial Department.

(7) This agreement must be signed by all authors and becomes effective upon signature. The signed electronic version of the agreement must be uploaded to the submission system or emailed to the Editorial Department (rdsw2020@hainanu.edu.cn). If the manuscript is not accepted, this agreement shall automatically become void.
